Whaaaaaaaaaat? Volkov was getting relatively owned here, and out of no where gets the flash KO. Cain's ground game and GnP murdered Volkov, but I guess somewhere in there, Volkov got a clean shot in and that was all it took. Nuts.

I totally disagree. They're just shitty period. I'd prefer to see a fight than any flash KO any day.

A flash KO is brought about by a perfect storm of precision, technique, and, to a lesser extent, power. They can turn a fight around in the blink of an eye. They can win you a fight you have been losing for 2 and a half rounds. If ya can't appreciate the skill involved in a precise KO, MMA might not be for you. To knock someone out with a single perfect strike is just as high level as a flying armbar, or some other beautiful technical submission.

You can have a flash KO at any point in a fight. I would rather see more than a 10 second fight as well, but that is true of fast submissions as well. Part of the reason Rousey bored me for so long (though her Judo technique wasn;t bad - but it was repetitive).
