DM: Fo Tef looks around for traps and does not see any traps. Fuch quickly spots puck climbing the opening archway. As Xerdan takes out his war axe and steel shield.. Xerdan's guard dog goes ahead and s it approaches the door an arrow hits the dog in the rear hip and the dog immediately retreats back to xerdan. (Dog takes 5 hp worth of damage) (dog has 10 hp total so it just took half it's total hp's)
OOC: a spot check can be made by everyone in order to see where the arrow came from (fuch's spot check was not high enough for him to notice.)

Fuch: That makes a lot of sense. While it is saddening to see a friendly animal such as this pup be struck by an arrow, I am thankful the dog will live through it and likely has saved one of us from an ill fate. That said, if you wish to keep your dog safe from harm, you will want to keep him on a shorter leash and not be so haste with your rash decisions.
*Fuch gives the dog a pet, helping to hopefully ease its pain. He gives Puck a look of disgust.*
