i suggest we have a max number of points you can earn or spend or something in a season we are at what event 6 and some guys already have earned and spent twice what i can hope to earn in this whole season. it means i wont ever be able to have any mid level fighters let alone good fighters let alone champions ya know what i mean???

To a point I know what you mean Byron, but, as it pertains to me, I've been held down, and held back, so much over the last 3-4 seasons, in terms of being allowed accumulating points, that this is my chance to be able to catch up too man.
I mean, I realize that you don't give a shit that I'm always at the bottom of the league, but I do... and that's not fun for me either dude. The site is supposed to be fun for everyone and, as I did before, I really don't think folks should be penalized for being active.

its not penalizing its like how taxes work. you tax the rich more than the poor because they can afford it more.
if you set the season cap at like 15 or 20 its huge and ridiculous but it means guys cant get that far ahead of us peopel who cant be as active. i want to be more active but its just not possible. i dont think its fair i be punished for that. if its about fun its not fun when some guys get anough points to make a champion in half a season cause they are post whores and people like me been around for 3 years give charity fighters to new guys and dont even get enough points to make a reasonble fighter let alone a champion. the guys who post all the time are already happy cause they get lots of points nad can be active but us people on the edge maybe some of us are thinkin of quittin cause we cant keep up this just helps us keep up a tiny tiny tiny bit more than before. 20-25 is not unreasonble holy fuck. or only put the cap in if someone wins a championship or something cause right now by end of season bulldozers will have murphy dominating and he post whores so much he will have lima be champ too and already has coleman. he been here for a season and i been workin at this for 3 years. thats not fun for me at all and its certily not fair./

I'm no more happy about Murphy being champion than you are. I dislike that bitch immensely lol and the fact that Dozers received what he did when he arrived doesn't impress me either, but there's nothing you or I can do about that. It happened and atleast he shuffled off Coenen, but yah, on that end of things I agree, but gointg after folks that are able to post more than you isn't the answer either man. Now without trying to be offensive to you bro, cuz I know your heart was in the right place... but you probably shouldn't have been giving away the charity fighters yourself. I know you're a veteran and a respected member around here, but you're not really in a position to do that with your current PPP situation. You're just not. But I feel the same way when it comes to seeing all these other folks getting these "charity fighters" that I didn't when I got here either. Sure, you can argue that I got Brock, and that was (sort of) charity in and of itself because he was the fighter I wanted most in the league... but I had to pay nearly full price for him (at the time) then see other folks getting far better deals for their charity fighters and basically give little or nothing back in return. It gets in my craw and pisses me off too man, but again, there's nothing I can do about it. I agree, it's not fair, but I have to keep my mouth shut about it unless I'm making an example like I was here. You're not the only one going through struggles with your team bro... it's HOW we fix them is the key. And I know this sounds weird coming from me, but going after everyone else isn't the answer. Sure, I'll lash out and vent about shit, blaming the simulator or Sandman or something else, but at the end of the day, I still have to deal with my team as it is because I chose it and this is my reality with this team. I know I bitch allot, but I'm highly competitive and I hate losing, especially when I know I shouldn't be. But your complaint here is relatively the same, in that you're blaming others cuz you're not able to do something. Go out and seek the deals man... Hell, I'll even make you a REALLY good deal once you accumulate 3-4 more points or if you're willing to trade your picks. I've been basically waiting for you to have around the right number of point to approach you about a deal.

You're offering to trade him a better fighter (arguably) but you want his points in return... the very thing he's complaining about not having. So he would trade the points that took him a hard time to acquire for a possibly better fighter who will then wither away because of further lack of points?

So he would trade the points that took him a hard time to acquire for a possibly better fighter who will then wither away because of further lack of points? No. The difference, even with what you were offering me for Brock at the time, it was basically a 1 or 2 point discount to what he was worth at that time. And with the current inflation of GSP going for 16 points + Pickett recently, you can shut the fuck up right now! Cuz what I'd be offering to Byron, and taking in return, would be vastly lower than that exchange AND for a relatively similar fighter to GSP. So...

so... wait.. you're angry because I offered you Brock for 6 points because GSP is now going or went for nearly 20? And you're upset about something and shared an image to get said unknown point across.
I guess I'm missing the part where I'm relevant to a trade someone else made.

I'm upset by the fact that any subsequent "charity" deal that you've ever made since has been for less and less in return... up to, and including, you gifting a fighter that was equal or possibly even better. So my point is crystal clear... if you don't get it, then I dunno what's wrong with you?!

think of it like roulette the more posts you have the more chips you put on the table to cover more bets the more likely you are to get your chips back. you get 1 chip on the table you aint never gonna win nothing just like i get 2 points a season whenn other guys get 30, i ain;t never gonna win nothing. what fun is that??? i have more fun charitying guys than getting my ass handed to me cause i cant live here like some people

You're phishing now Byron... Stop now please. But to answer your question... no. If that's what get's you off and allows you to have fun here, then go ahead and do it, but don't sit there and persecute those of us that actively post around the site then bitch at us that we're "post whores" and that you can't catch up after you trade your best or better fighters for nothing!

I was a post whore when I started but not anymore. I have a shit ton of free time which is why I'm active but taking away the points that I earned isn't fair to me.
