What are some cool things you have received for free. GIFTS/PRESENTS DO NOT COUNT. Things you won do, but specify that you won it.
Some random samples to start
Free:
- In college, my friend and I would often raid Goodwill dumpsters. I got speakers, an 8-track player, tons of books, a couple CDs, a great Jim Bakker cassette tape of a sermon he does about how he was in jail and stuff. Good times.
- found a $20 bill once. was awesome.
Won:
- Catching Fire blu ray

I've played on hockey teams where I have won the MVP, and the shittiest players have won the MVP. They are pretty much meaningless trophies that are handed out to make kids feel good about their efforts.
I've won National music competition awards.
Free: I sort of got a 50" TV from someone for a 50 dollar canadian tire gift card.

Well what league did you play in?? In my AA league (before I was dropped to houseleague by my parents) the shitty players never got them. Like only a dozen people got them out of like 4 tourneys (some people got multiple of them).

Okay, awards and trophies are not what I am interested here. You guys are boring me. I am talking about actual material things you have won or been given for free, without cost to yourself or a gift-giver.
(For the record, I have 4 MVP medals, 5 Most Sportsmanlike medals/trophies, 2 tournament MVP awards, and many, many "honourable mention" awards - but again, this shit doesn't matter. Talk to me about interesting stuff)

One thing I NEVER won at was those Milk draws in school. I won one of those! I won a little change purse that looked like a duffle bag - but with cow spots. I fucking loved it. I think I still have it. It might even be in that Crippled Irishman Box of Everything. |

Oh, in school, like grammar and middle school, the Milk company would do these draws in your school. If you bought a milk, you got your name put in a draw, then they drew for random shit that was milk related to encourage health. Things like this:  |

Yeah. We had milk cards and when you filled your milk card you either got a prize or a free milk, i don't remember which. But winning that milk mini-dufflebag was a big life highlight. I loved that thing.
