I'm sorry but people will get offended if you make a comedy on child labour.

No they won't. You just have to know what you are doing. It's satire. There are classic, critically acclaimed comedies on Hitler himself (The Great Dictator), the Holocaust (Life is Beautiful), the great depression (almost any Charlie Chaplin movie, i.e. Modern Times), War in general (tons, but let's go with Catch-22), Vietnam (MASH), Armageddon & the cold war (Dr. Strangelove), the list goes on forever.

I would suggest studying the thing you want to defend before just assuming that one side is wrong. That's poor lawyership on your part.

I'm not saying that one side is wrong. In saying that some people will get offended but some people will find it funny.

That is correct, and people who get offended are people who consistently single out a line rather than reviewing something in context. Context always matters.
For instance, I can point a gun and you can run an article in the paper saying "Micheal was pointing his gun. It was locked and loaded." But without knowing the context of where, when and why I had the gun, it makes me look negative, despite not lying.
"Mike had the gun in his hands, aimed firm and fired. The shot rang out and echoed through the trees, but the target was hit for a third time in his skeet shooting practice."
Context.

That's different than making fun of kids who are slaves for rich companies.

That's different than making fun of kids who are slaves for rich companies. No one is making fun of the kids. Satire is about mocking a situation, particularly one of injustice or tragedy. It's a given that everyone feels like shit about child labour. No one wakes up and says, "It's a damned good thing we have 6 year olds working for pennies. Otherwise this Wal Mart t-shirt would have cost me 48.50, instead of $7.00. I wish there were a way we could put 2 year olds to work. Fucking lazy 2 year olds." No one says or thinks this shit. We all know and understand its terrible, so just like you deal with tragedy (like Sandy Hooks) in a way differently than Mike, so too do people deal with tragedies with comedy. There is an old saying, "I laugh so that I do not cry."

The fact that of everything that has been said HE immediately narrowed it down to "making fun of kids" is completely my point. Thanks for proving me absolutely right. You are part of those people I talk about.

Because we live in a world where the majority are too poor to afford the alternative.

Correct, because most don't know, some don't care, and others are just financially troubled to shop elsewhere.
