Hard to say. I think Burger King was really just looking for the marketing effects that Tim Hortons has had, but I do think it will be inevitable that they will be a joint organization, just not the way you may think. I picture it like how we sometimes have the big buildings that have three and four fast food places in one building. Do people know what I'm talking about? Like it's part Wendy's, part Tim Horton's?

That'll likely happen more in the States than up here, kinda like we have DQ/Orange Julius combos or Taco Bell/KFC combos. Timmy's is almost literally an institution in Canada, there's no real need to pair off the two brands in Canada.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. I read they will be staying separate, but I have to wonder with the increased volume of actual food that Tim Horton's has been selling lately, it wouldn't surprise me if over the next five years they began selling BK food. That said, hopefully BK food improves as well to less generic-produce to more almost like baestro-ness like Hortons.

I kinda like BK's food... the burgers are decent and I like that they have the mozza sticks on they're menu. lol But that would suck seeing BK food in Timmy's. It's kinda sad really on another level... I was kind of digging how Timmy's was literally competing with Mc Choke'n'Pukes and was actually gaining some ground on them. Too bad that's over too really. I'd be more likely to believe that Timmy's will drop menu items and not add them now.

I visit BK so few times. I only got this like sort of double patty-cheesy thing. That was solid, but I also come from a town that never had one, so I never craved it. I never really considered they may drop items to help BK grow, but that would only happen if the items were never successful in the first place, otherwise would that not just stop people from buying from them?
Side note: Burger King soup! lol

That's a TON of extra money just to get into Canada. I read that was pretty much the primary reason they opted in merging with a Canadian company. Smart choice.
