Now a days Shakespeare's language does nothing for us. Not true at all. While the vernacular is very different and has changed over the centuries, the language itself is still valid. If it wasn't, English would have died out like Latin did. |

You kids really aren't that much different TBH. There were tonnes of folks in my generation that "didn't get" Shakespeare too. The thing is that you have to be open to stuff you don't understand instead of shooting it down outright... It's that very thing that has caused the racism, sexism, and pretty much any war that we've ever fought as a people. You'd think we would've gotten the memo by now. lol  |

You did, my generation hasn't. Let's put it this way. I'm in one of the worst generations ever. We have girls twerking, most girls at my school are sluts, we have guys who do pot in class, we have a few kids that will masturbate in class while the teacher is yelling at them to stop. My generation is fucked up.

My generation is fucked up. You're assuming your generation is different than any generation that has preceded you, when in fact, you aren't. My generation had different technology than my father's, and he had more than his father before him. My generation had girls who dressed inappropriately according to my parents, and they did according to theirs, and so on and so forth. There's a reason why Elvis wasn't allowed to "show his pelvis" on live television in the 50s. Why women couldn't show their ankles in the 1880s, dance moves were banned in the 20s, etc. etc. Do you really think that at no time in history a kid NEVER touched himself in class until now? The narcissism in you is fucking astonishing. If it weren't for the fact that I work with and know many other teens that I can have REAL conversations with, I would worry about what is next in line, but I don't. You just happen to be a terrible lazy, self-centred twat. And I mean YOU and not your generation. I seriously cannot participate in anything involving this kid. He makes my head explode with his ignorance. |
