Grown Ups 1 and 2, Billy Madison, and the one when he becomes a pro golfer (for some reason I can't remember the name) are my favourites.

I don't mind Adam Sandler, but I have not liked an Adam Sandler comedy since I was a kid. I think I grew out of them. I still like them for nostalgia, but his new comedy stuff I generally dislike or avoid. That said, I have enjoyed his dramatic work, particularly Punch Drunk Love, but also Reign Over Me, and Spanglish. I like when comic actors prove they can act. Like Jim Carrey, I like when he does the odd serious movie too. Like Man on the Moon. Great flick.  |

Reign Over Me was also great, but while a lot of people hated Spanglish I also really enjoyed it. I also liked Funny People and most hated it expecting it to be a comedy, but it clearly was not. Jim Carrey I love for Eternal Sunshine, and will forever be one of my favorite movies ever made. There's a new one coming out by Michel Gondry called Mood Indigo with Audrey Tautou that looks intriguing. |
