My bone is arched so they have to make it straight. It's also crooked to the right. Does it affect your breathing, or is it purely cosmetic?

I'm like that too (minus the crooked, arching I think). GOtta talk to my doc in November I think, see if its worth surgery.

It's been like this for several years and doesn;t hurt or anything. I've had sinus infections, those can hurt like a motherfucker.

Well my bone is blocking my air passage that's why I can't breath. The surgery is gonna be a pain in the ass also.

I had that surgery this past year. I can breathe a tonne better. BUT it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Ya I know. My eyes are gonna be black and my nose is gonna look like a rainbow. Practically I'm gonna look like my face got hit by a bus.

If your face got hit by a bus, your face would be dead.

i didn't get a black eye. you just get bandages under your nose cause your nose bleeds a bunch.

Well what was your operation? Cause for me they have to chisel under my nose, cut my bone in half, snap both halves so that they become flimsy, reshape the bones to how they are supposed to be, put the bones back together, then put stitches where they chiseled.

for me it was straightening the cartilage in my nose. They had to cut the cartilage away from my skull and pull it down so that the cartilage straightens (which clears my nostrils for better airway)and then reattach the cartilage to my skull.

Ya that's why. There was no cracking or breaking of any bones.
