Upgrading a wrestlers punches can change how they fight. It looks like it had no impact on this fight, but it typically means they go for less takedowns because they have more confidence in their striking. As I said, made no difference here, since he got the takedown, but was reversed. Things that I should have been aware of but wasn't!

I feel like I have said things like that 100 times now though. That, upgrade to their strengths, give fighters a focus rather then making them good at everything but great at nothing. I donno.

It does, but when guys get upgrades in a certain skill they want to use it more, so their strategies adjust accordingly. They use their blatantly-stronger skills more, and the better a skill the more they try to use it. If they are balanced, they will balance their attack. So far, I don't think I have seen that work out too well for anyone. Most successful fighters here have a focus, whether it be stand up, ground, submission...what have you.

Ok so what you're trying to say is that it was stupid of me to upgrade his punching?

Ok so what you're trying to say is that it was stupid of me to upgrade his punching? That's possibly what he's saying... but if you put points into something else later to compensate, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Or he will become another bust like Rousey and D'Alelio. I wouldn't call those two complete busts. With D'Alelio, she's only had 1 or 2 fights since her last tweak, so we won't know for sure what's up with her until after another few fights. Rousey's atleast won the belt once.

Ya Rousey won the belt when the rest of the females were garbage. To a point, but it hasn't been easy for anyone to bust through the Cyborg, Carano & Kaufman barrier... for some reason, the simulator REALLY likes those three. lol
