In real life, if you pay a trainer to help you train, you go train there for 3 months, then it turns out you are not better, you don't suddenly not owe him anything for his time working with you.
It's not a penalty, it's a gamble. For, as I said, 1 free point that would otherwise take 25-75 posts to acquire. YOu don't walk into a casino, put 100 on black, then get to change your choice to red if it comes up red, lol.
If you don't like the free point service, don't use it.
Not please stop cluttering up this board, I need to use it for processing and such. Thank you.

A new system should mean a new way of doing things as well, especially when it'll take little to no effort at all on your part to make it fair "gamble" for everyone. This isn't Vegas Justin. It's about you being fair to the GMs of this league that send these fighters to a training camp. And the way you have it set up here isn't fair to anyone unless you a) put the random point to another attribute if maxed already or, if you want it to be a gamble, b) revert back to telling folks to the exact point that an attribute has been maxed. This is not an " If you don't like the free point service, don't use it." type senario man. This is new way of doing the training camps and there's an issue with it as it is to start. It's best to fix it now at the beginning than just leave it and have no one use it cuz the new system is shoddy. It's a service, yes... but you want a service to be used not just laying dormant cuz it doesn't work right. |
