Well that's because you forgot the comma in "you go, guy"

I did not forget it; I opted to omit it. "go guy" has enough natural pause in it there was no need for an additional pause-break via comma. The intonation I would use when saying, "You go, girl" does, actually bring about a comma for a break in the sentence. Were I to say, "You go, guy" rather than "You go guy" it changes how it sounds, and would no longer be how I said it. Say both out loud, you will hear the notable difference in sentence flow.
