It's an illegal drug. Like, federally illegal. So yes, it's against the NSAC rules too. But in this case, it came down to this "out of competition vs. in-competition" thing. If he took it "in competition" (which is I believe like, 12 hours prior to the fight) he would have been in trouble with the commission. I did just read, though, that the UFC fined him $25,000. People have received worse punishments than for repeating a joke on Twitter ffs. (Torres was cut for quoting a rape-van joke from a TV show). Ronda Rousey, however, continually takes shots at female fighters appearances (Cyborg), and calls others "it" (Fox). That's okay, though, because Dana White likes Ronda + Ronda and Jones bring in big money. It's all a pretty big farce at this point, and is in desperate need of oversight. Whether or not a union would bring that about remains to be seen, but at this point it would not hurt.

Yes! It drives me nuts. Like, I'm all for not raping people, but if you don't like what a guy said on his Twitter feed....don't follow him on twitter. I do not like the shit Ronda Rousey says, so I do not follow her on Twitter.
But what it all comes down to is the stupid UFC's insanely inconsistent discipline policy. I honestly believe that if Ronda Rousey walked into a zoo and raped a sleeping dolphin with a sawed-off tree branch, the UFC would support her in that pursuit. If an undercard fighter went to the zoo, he might be fired for supporting the incarceration of animals and the promotion of animal cruelty.

Yes The top 4% of fighters make a fortune while guys making their debut in the UFC get $8000. Imagine how the NHLPA would react to someone getting paid $8000 to play a third of the NHL season?

Not even kidding, I have a hard time swallowing things and could never, ever snort something. That grosses me out. Someone would be like "hey, you want some coke?" I'd be like "not really" then if they are crazy they'll force it on me, I'd sniff it and then throw up on everything in sight. Then I'd play it off all cool, like "yeah, big whoop."
