I am finding it interesting how some guys get lost in the shuffle... like Sherk being no. 1 contender and isn't even ranked. I realize it's allot of fighters to manage, but something like that shouldn't be overlooked really.

I don't know how Mike is doing it, but when I was doing it quick-style (a style suggested by xx - Team GAP actually), it all came down to WHO you beat. So someone who had never beat anyone ranked higher then them, they were not ranked higher then them. In my more complicated rankings, I took who you beat into account more indirectly. So if Sherk was on a 5 fight winning streak, but his most recent loss was to the guy ranked 15th, I would probably still keep him off the top 15, since it was established he was not better then the 15th ranked guy. That sort of thing.

Again, that's just me. I don't know Mike's system (though I know he has one and keeps track of everything etc,) Not knowing and not having to do rankings makes it much funner for me, both as a fan and as a booker
