I see what you're suggesting here Conquistadors, but the thing is that if the fighters are ranked, they should be winning and therefore not on FiD anyways... atleast that would be the theory at any rate.

I just saw this now for some reason.

Ranked fighters can conceivably end up on FiD, since they are usually fighting like-ranked fighters. Case in point:

JDS is ranked #1, he loses to #2 - He has 1 loss
He then loses to #4 - He has 2 losses
He then loses to #5 - he has 3 losses
He loses to #7 - he is now technically FiD-eligible, while being ranked 8th. He loses to #9, he could be in medium danger, etc etc.

I see the benefits of protecting the top 15 fighters, since they are fighting stiffer competition and more likely to be fighting capped fighters. What do others think?

Yeah, actually stumbled across a real example when I was booking the most recent fights.

Melvin Guillard (42-29)

He's on a 4 fight losing streak. Is (or should be) sitting at low-level danger, and is still ranked 12th at LW. Rare, but happens.

Does anyone else care about this suggestion one way or another? Apathy is for mindless arses and people who pay for gym memberships (xx - Camp Cannon)
