Nah, it hasn't ever been their goaltending... that's been the issue; it's been their defense. Dubnyk proved that this season getting his shot with ARZ/MIN and earning himself a Vezina nod. Your goalie does have to be good, but if your defense is shoddy and not allowing yoour goalie to see the puck, it wouldn't have mattered if the Oilers had Carey Price back there, he might have been a touch better, but not by allot.
