The old format of just 3 male fights (LW, MW, HW)?

Hell no Murphy is my most reliable fighter.

I'm fine with the way it is. I think it's actually more fair this way as teams now have to build and manage 5 solid fighters if they want a chance to win the tournament. Otherwise, 3 fighters is pretty easy to stack and roll with.

I feel the exclusion of women in the GP wouldn't make sense with the growth the division has seen recently.

Exactly and it's not fair to teams that have used a lot of points on their female fighters only to not be able to use them in the GP.

I think Bulldozers is saying 'no' because he knows that Murphy is his only good fighter (snicker)

What about replacing men's open weight with a 2nd women's? One for Women's Middleweight and one for Women's Lightweight?

What about replacing men's open weight with a 2nd women's? One for Women's Middleweight and one for Women's Lightweight? I'll definitely poll this a bit later in the season, probably some time after the dust has settled from this suggestion. Then I have another one coming (probably today) related to PPP that I need to clear up sooner rather than later as well. Personally, I kind of like the open weight. It makes the GP a bit more strategic. You have more choices. It makes more sense to have the second women's weight class instead, but it means you can power your way to a GP win, whereas now, you can technically strategy your way through, if you place your fighters in the right fights. That being said, simming GP is a lot of work, so if people PREFERRED only the 3 male weight classes, only having to sim 12+9 fights for the GP would not be that devastating to me But we'll come back to this aspect of the GP discussion for sure.

if anything we should have a new format with both womens classes that be 6 tho so we would need a 7th another ow catch weight fight or sumthing since the 1st ow fight isnt catch weight i dont think and everyone usually picks a hw anyways

I'm at my sim limit now with 20+15

Woooooow you guys are a bunch of lemons . No wonder the mapleleafs suck !!
Edit : yeah ! Also makes simming easy for Sandmen. Except we should have HW,MW,LW and a women's fight so only 4 fighters per team. The open weight fights is pointless.
