No, when it comes to Wonderland, I'm a coward. I barely go on the simple stuff, like the Minebuster or Vortex. I'm not much of a big ride person, but one day I think I hope to work my way up to the Behemoth. I don't think I will ever do something like the slingshot though. Doesn't look like my type of exciting. I like the ride part of rollercoasters. Ya I used to be that way but I practically forced myself to go onto the Behemoth and since then I'm not scared of rides anymore. I think that's what I need to do too. My problem is that I get bored and anxious and bored in line, and I don't get as much of a thrill out of the rides as those around me seem to, so it always seems like a lot of work for so little pay off. And being a person with (probably) a generalized anxiety disorder, the worst feeling for me is that short period of time when they lock you in and the ride JUST starts. Those few seconds of complete helplessness freak me out. But that's actually why I want to force myself to go on rides more. As you said, the more you force yourself, the more acclimatized you become to stuff and the less of a big deal it is. I just need to get a season pass some day and force myself along. But life is more complicated with a 7 year old too - she now loves rollercoasters, but is not big enough to go on half of them, so we have to take child care with us each time, or we have to leave her with babysitting as we go somewhere she loves without her.

So give with Mike. Then get him to force you to do it.

I don't think he's the biggest fan either. But we're also old, so we have wives who will probably want to come too, which brings us back to square Zero.

So tell your daughter you're going out for the day (leave out where) and get you parents to take care of her or something like that.

Oh, I'd have no fun with that. I like the ride part. What I don't love is the feeling you get when you ride. It's just because I so rarely went on coasters or rides, that "roller coaster feeling" you get during a drop is really intense. I don't feel sick or dizzy or anything, its just almost an overwhelming feeling. But the more I go on stuff, the less it's a big deal. But the actual scenary and the heights and the ride itself, those parts are the things I like
