That's not even an upset really... Fucking Rumble was made a phenom with just a little over 10 points; LMFAO, 24 points is not "a little over 10 points". #FactsRFriends I wasn't talking about his total points. He became virtually unbeatable after a little over 10 points put into him; just after his first upgrade of 10 points. My statement is more than accurate. #ThinkBeforeYouSpeak

My statement is more than accurate. #ThinkBeforeYouSpeak So you mean he was unbeatable because, after 14 upgrades, he beat Gustafsson, and Igor Vovchanchyn? Then after his 20th upgrade, he beat Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin? Then lost to Cain Velasquez and Chuck Liddell? #Unbeatable?

That happened to Murphy also, she beat the bottom of the best but lost to the middle of the best. But I can see what he means since Johnson did just beat a former HW winner in Coleman and a former SF champion in Dos Santos.

#UpgradesInAction (Though in fairness, I blame Coleman NOT going for takedowns for the Coleman fight more then Johnson's leet skillz.

Learn to read things completely before you speak Mr. "Honours Degree". Jebus.

Again, you don't fucking read... I said "virtually unbeatable". Learn to read things completely before you speak Mr. "Honours Degree". Jebus. 1) Almost unbeatable is not losing 20% of your fights kid. Particularly when half of your wins are against relatively un-upgraded scum. 2) It's "Honour's Degree". But at least you got the U in there. 3) This whole "I have to be upset on sim day because my fighter(s) lost is getting really old. You should consider not being such a poor loser. It's just a game, man.

Check those 7. If he didn't go for takedowns in many of them, consider minus-ing some punching or clinching if he is doing a lot of that. If he is just failing at the takedowns, I'm unsure what to do with that, if it's maxed.

It maybe just a game, but maybe you should consider what it actually looks like on you for a change.

Also I have no points to upgrade him with, remember? Step 1) Fight history (top of every page, beside rankings and recent activity). Step 2) Archives (for the actual fights) Step 3) Read stats and commentary Done And you don't need points to subtract points from skills. If he is punching too much for a wrestler, minus his punching, for example. Too much punching is the problem I have most often with my submission and wrestling fighters.

Also be careful what you take out of clinching. I have noticed a moderate improvement in D'Alelio from putting some clinch grappling back into her. So, for wrestlers/ground fighters, taking out of clinch striking is a better bet from what I've notice with my trial and error. lol

What if his punching isn't even upgraded? If he is punching too much, it won't matter - you can still remove points from the skill. Someone else may have upgraded it, or it may have been default too high. There is a minimum though, after which we can't drop below it, otherwise the Pro MMA fighters punching would be below a school yard cat fight. But go by what they seem to be doing too much and deduct accordingly. And RE: What Kruze said above. It all comes down to what you want them to be doing. Punches, Kicks, Clinching and Takedowns are all one competing category - so every point into something other then takedowns is less frequency with which they will try for takedowns. The program balances the percentage of frequency of those 4 skills with how many points are in each of them. Better punches, more punches, less everything else.
