If I increased the pay-out for recruiting new members to include a seasonal payout component? Basically if you recruit someone for every season that person is a part of the site, you would get an additional point or something like that.
Thoughts?

YOu get a new member to sign up. They stay.
And the end of the season, you get 1 point.
If they are still here at the end of the next season...you get a point.
If they are still here at the end of the season after that......you get a point.

Is that from this point on? Or would I be able to get retro points from bringing in GAP? If it's a successional pay out, it would make sense. But yah, that's fine. I don't see a problem with that. Oh, also... Does that mean you're doing away with the lump sum payout for recruitment then?

It would be from now onward, and I would probably not do away with the lump sum after 1 month.

So I wouldn't be getting a point for bringing in GAP at the end of the season then either, I guess?
But yah, I can't really see that as too much of an issue now. The only thing I will say that's contrary to it is that the lump sum is more a bit more useful to folks than getting 1 point per season. It's six of one and a half-dozen of the other really though. Points are points.

It's six of 1 PLUS a half-dozen of the other.  End-goal is to get 1-2 more QUALITY members here. |
