As always, if you are taking a point, you may draft your point any time. If you want a fighter, you must wait for your pick to come up.
Reminder, 1st pick in the 1st round is worth 2 points each.
For this draft, since our point payout structure changed, I don't want that to be a reason for people to be discouraged from making swaps to bring in new fighters if they are wanting to. So to fix that, for this draft, swapping fighters will not cost you your draftable point. I'll just simplify what I'm thinking below.
- If you are SWAPPING for a fighter of the sex, you can make the swap AND take a point with your pick.
- If you are SWAPPING a male for a female, you can make the swap AND take a point for your pick.
- If you are SWAPPING a female for a male, you get no additional point.
- If you want to ADD a fighter without giving anyone up, you sacrifice your draft pick only - it will cost you no additional points.
