The Mighty Ducksk, can I get you to use a fighters full name? I had to research who the fuck "Whats Eating Gilbert Grape" was. To translate that to whatever language you think you are using, "Use their names and upgrade properly or I'm not processing your upgrades you curmudgeonous bastard. That is all.

Jessicas eye gets +5 to toughness that's 5 if you can't count. like if i had 5 apples and took away 1 apple id still have five apples because they were always my apples. then to help Dr. Frankenstein, Igor gets +3 to toughness so far, ive used 8 points. good to know right? you're welcome. but not in my house. sherk the terk gets +3 toughness gotta thicken that bitches cardio up, and toughness will help him to bitcharooniedoonie, whatever the fuck that means. total points used now is 11, you dumb ass-clown. finally, whats eating gilbert grape. +4 to punching strikes, the best kind of strike. even better than teachers. 15 points used. good? good. fucking animals. Can I have what you're on?

Processed. Jake Shields is now capped. So I did some research and the only other upgrades Shields has had was +2 submissions and +2 Takedowns all the way back in season 5. So I only put in 29 points into him and with the additional four from before that equals 33. His cap is 83 so how is he capped already?

There is no set number of upgrades that bring someone up to cap. Odds are Shields came in pretty strong (low/mid-70s), since he is a legit fighter in real life. If 33 was what brought him to his 83 cap, then...yeah...

I donno, I think it's pretty typical. I think because the person you majorly upgraded was a woman who came in weak your idea of how much it takes to max someone is biased. The spread between a newly drafted woman and cap is much, much wider than a man and cap. Factor in Murphy came in low, and Shields came in high as well, its a big difference. All the more reason fine-tuning is important. Work out any remaining bugs or flaws of the initial build.

It took me like 40+ points to max Lima

It took me like 40+ points to max Lima Yeah, overall Shields is a significantly better fighter than Lima. Comparing to hockey, Shields is like a Ryan O'Reilly or Matt Duchene. Lima is Joe Colborne or Jamie McGinn.

Ok so it's like Kadri vs John Scott

Haha, close, but not quite. I would say Lima is better than John Scott - Lima is was champion in Bellator, and is a good fighter, but he has not faced the calibre of opponents as Jake Shields. Jake has beat legends (like Dan Henderson).

Not really... the average good fighter takes about 32-35 (-ish) points to cap. Both Cruz & MacDonald only took 35 & 34 to cap, respectively... Brock only took 27 to cap. 33 is right in that ballpark for Shields, though I would've though it'd take a few more than that being Cruz, I think, would be considered a better fighter than Shields, but that's in the same range.
