Alright, the title is odd but I'll explain.
This is my suggestion:
-From now on, all of our rosters of let's say 12 fighters are frozen.
-Every season, teams have one or two draft picks (1st and 2nd round) that they can trade and so on and so forth.
-Every fighter that was released are considered free agents who you can add to your roster at anytime by releasing a fighter (the same way we operate now).
-Fighters considered to be free agents CANNOT be drafted. They are free agents, period.
-Every year, me and Sandmen will compile a list of fighters equivalent to the amount of fighters needed for each draft, complete with our own perceived ranking, that you can draft from. Only players listed on this draft thread are draftable for that year. This will allow for some draft years to potentially feature better fighters.
So there you have it. The drafting gets better, this will promote more trades and such, and Sandmen doesn't have to create 50 guys every year.

Sounds like a good idea.
