That and she's not eligible anyways. Well, that was a hot topic when you wanted to bring this in too. I still don't see an issue if we want to put women in to challenge. It's not like the program recognizes gender anything... nor does it hurt anything. It's the same inherent risk of injury as putting any other fighter up for it.

If you want to discuss that (or Cannon wants to discuss that), bring up a suggestion to include them and we can discuss it there. I don't want ot have this discussion in the challege thread. It's as hard to keep clean as the PA thread.

Problem 1 Aesthetic but will bother me none the less - any women in the fight will perpetually be referred to as "he". I fix this for women vs. women fights, but cannot for men vs. women fights. I have done women vs. men fights in the past, this bugged me, but I overlooked it because those special fights were one-offs, and were interesting in some way. I do not really want to have to deal with it on a consistent basis as women challenge routinely for SuperFight belts...
Problem 2 Women have lower caps than men do here. Until the gap in the women's divisions decreases, this doesn't look like it's changing any time soon. Fix that, and this discussion might have a lot more merit.
Problem 3 We have fewer women in each weight class than we do men. I need our women, especially the good ones, for legitimate title tournaments and title fights. So though this is different completely from #2 above, it also ties into it somewhat - develop your women as a whole, divisions will be deeper, something like this might make more sense.
Problem 4 We have a number of very worthy challengers now, who people are not challenging with. There are a handful of people who can hold that belt. The point was to spread the belt-wealth out, since we had so many very good male contenders but only 1 belt in each weight class.

You are 1 team. There are 20 women per weight class. You having a couple maxed out fighters helps, but it's still only about 10-20% of the division. There is still a major gap between the bests and the worsts. You're right, though, you (et al) are making it better. But it's not at a place we can move forward with the cap increase - not even close.

even if i upgraded brock to beat rutten i will not challenge for a false (super) manufactured title Then why do you want women to compete for it? YOu clearly don't care about the belt (or the point that comes with winning it), so doesn;t that pretty much just end your suggestion here and now?

id rather see a women's super-fight. so cross-division fights, but that might have been just what it was before we separated the divisions?

Until the gap in the women's divisions decreases, this doesn't look like it's changing any time soon. Fix that, and this discussion might have a lot more merit. So though this is different completely from #2 above, it also ties into it somewhat - develop your women as a whole, divisions will be deeper, something like this might make more sense. Problem 4We have a number of very worthy challengers now, who people are not challenging with. There are a handful of people who can hold that belt. The point was to spread the belt-wealth out, since we had so many very good male contenders but only 1 belt in each weight class. Problem 1So really this isn't a problem at all other than it makes you uncomfortable. It's not like it's going to be an all the time thing. It's one fight, not all women vs. men only. Problem 2So what? Many fighters have lower caps or aren't ranked as high as other fighters. Are you going to suddenly make it so that only A & B ranked fighters can be eligible to challenge for the SuperFight belt now? It makes no difference whether a fighter is capped or not capped or what they're ranked or where they're cap is. You keep claiming that anybody can beat anybody, at any time, but when it comes right down to it, you won't allow it to happen. So again... Not even a problem. Problem 3What do numbers have to do with anything? It's only one fighter fighting one fight at one time. It's not taking them out of their out of their weight class unless they win, but it's no different than us missing Bas out of the HW division for now. Not every fighter has a contender ranking, nor are they always vying for a title or even close... So once again... Not even a problem. Problem 4We have a number of worthy contenders in the women's divisions that aren't always up for a title as well or even in the tournaments all the time. So really, the same can be said about the women as the men except that they only have 2 divisions to have a belt opportunity, yet the men have 4. So where's the problem? Oh right... There isn't one. The only real "problem" here is that you just simple just don't want to do it. Bottomline. So why even bother wasting all of our time by creating a thread for this, coming up with fictitious "problems" when all you simply had to say is "I don't want to do it." Simple... to the real point... and no one's time is being wasted.

That's the point here, isn't it? If she has no hope in hell of winning, what's the point of the challenge? 2) Other fighters are not in divisions with only 20 fighters and desperate need for legit competition. 3) We have 2 actual, legit FW title contenders, and a couple long shots. If one of the actual contenders is tied up with the SuperFight belt, then basically we're re-enforcing the problem we have with the womens division we already have - there are so few legit threats to the title at present. With Bas missing from HW, we still have Brock, Overeem, Couture, Johnson, Cain, Coleman, Lashley, Jones, Rampage, Liddell, Goodridge - all very good, developed fighters. We do not have such a list for all of the women combined, let alone just one weight class. 4) Flat-out incorrect. I book this shit, so I can assure you, booking the women in meaningful tournament or even non-tournament fights is hard as fuck right now. Get upgrading your women, people!
