I was fine with it. But we all know that I always was since I gave new teams a free fighter every time, so it was nothing new for me. The fact that everyone else embraced it and some even gave points was impressive and I commend all of you for your generosity.  Now let's build and watch our fighters kick our old fighters asses haha |

Wait is there another team coming? Or is he talking about me? There isn't a new team coming. It's Cannon. What happens is stuff happens smoothly, and no one cares, and everyone is happy, including Cannon. Then he stews on the possibilities of a situation for a few days, then gets himself worked up about things that haven't happened, but might theoretically happen (based on them not happening in the past), then this happens. In this case, to translate the Cannonese, he is saying he doesn't want to be in a position where he maxes out all 14 of his fighters, just to have a new team come in via expansion draft and take them away from him. As I said, in nearly 5 years, this hasn't happened, and in nearly 5 years, no one has ever been forced to give a fighter to a new team. Ever. He's just having a Cannon-dither. It'll pass. Don't take it personally. |

Ok... I thought a new noob was coming. no but noob generally want main stream fighter like jds lyoto machida condit rousey holm jojo calderwood and page vanzant phx only has 2 main stream fihter crock lesnar (peddy user) and dominick cruz |

Ok... I thought a new noob was coming. no but noob generally want main stream fighter like jds lyoto machida condit rousey holm jojo calderwood and page vanzant phx only has 2 main stream fihter crock lesnar (peddy user) and dominick cruz ...And Alexis Davis. ...And Cat Zingano. Alex Gustafsson's pretty mainstream these days too, as is Rory MacDonald. Not to mention Tim Sylvia is actually a former champion in his own right. Plus, I just lost Ortiz & Fitch, who are both mainstream guys as well. You don't like most of my fighters and you're frustrated... I get it Normand. But, while I have a few fringe guys, that doesn't make them ALL any less mainstream. lol I do get you frustration though... but like I said, I prefer the protection method as opposed to the donation method we just went through. Not only does it seem like the new team is picking his own team rather than Sandman picking it for him, it also give us established folks the chance to protect our top fighters, mainstays & core fighters, depending on how large our teams are and how many protects we get per team. There's a lot of good fighters out there still now, even the fringe ones, but if a team chooses to go the expansion draft route, we really are powerless to stop them, which I don't think is that bad of a thing. I mean, granted, Rattlesnakes probably ended up with a bit better team out of donations than he would have through a protection draft, but, to me, that's just a testament to the generosity of all our members, despite having a few guys that are assholes to eachother; myself included on that. lol We always seem to pull together something to make a new team feel welcome here and, in the process, provide them with the best team possible, no matter which method they chose to construct their team. |

You're doing it wrong. i dont have as mucg free time as u do noone has so u be active n sim more 6 of one... and a half dozen of the other there man. I feel you in the sense that I want to see more simming too, but, on the other hand, as much as I rib Sandman about being a househusband, having a young kid that's home over the summer is extremely time consuming as well, not to mention that you're going out and are able to do more stuff with said kid in the summertime. There are atleast 2 times a year things get slow for sim leagues; X-mas time & Summertime. It happens. It's just a fact, for players and simmers alike. |

Not to mention since The Texas Rattlesnakes joined, he has been harassing me for cards and sims constantly, so I have been obliging quite frequently. I expect simming to be much more frequent now that school is back in the swing of things, and Austin is on my ass to sim and post cards All of this you would know, Cannon, if you were more active. Which leads us back to my previous comment - I'll continue to look for new members if it means I have a league of people as openly and vocally enthusiastic about sims and cards as The Texas Rattlesnakes. Keeps things exciting and motivating for me, and keeps the site moving well. To reiterate - BE MORE ACTIVE AND I WILL STOP LOOKING FOR ADDITIONAL MEMBERS TO FILL THAT ACTIVITY-VOID |
