BREAKING DEVELOPMENT
Jessica Eye has failed to make weight for her title shot (on account of her recently moving up to Bantamweight).
Typically, ManMMA would give Joanna's team the opportunity to make a decision on how she would like to proceed (since she made weight), but it's Friday, and I won't be able to do this sim again until Monday or Tuesday if we wait. So we're invoking the opt-in thread, and just hoping Bullies is cool with it.
So here's how this is going to go down.
- The fight will happen.
- It will happen at an open weight (JJ is 129 lbs, Eye is 141 lbs).
- It will be fought under title fight rules (10 rounds).
- If JJ wins, it will count as a successful title defence (she made weight).
- If Eye wins, it will count as a win, but she will obviously get no title.
