When there is a champion, they will probably be a number one pick in the draft.... then the two best fighters who didn't get drafted could compete for the belt next season. We would have to see who the better fighters are though before we have a NXT belt.

You're still not going to have an accurate assessment of when guys/gals have only had 1 fight in NXT and you have folks with 3 now. One or two more cards would've covered that... And the thing is, we'll be doing it all again next season anyways... Cuz, chances are, that the 'champion' you name, will get drafted to ManMMA and there won't even be an NXT champion next season anyways. See, this is what happens when you rush things. 1) They will have more than 1 fight. 2) If people have more fights, they earned them in the eyes of the booker. 3) People will have more than 1 fight. 4) Nothing is being rushed. The plan has always been about 10 ManNXT events. It's just playing catch-up to where it should have been, since my ManMMA pace quickened, but I did not speed up ManNXT to match it. 5) People will have more than 1 fight. 6) The whole point of ManNXT is to CROWN a champion. If they defend, cool, if not, cool. But determining the champ is the whole point - finding the best, so the draft isn't just a bunch of useless scrubs who has no business being here. Here, people get some idea of how the "rest" stack up against the rest. 7) People will have more than 1 fight. And lastly. 8) People. Will. Have. More. Than. 1. Fight. You're missing the point here Justin... I'm not talking about fights that fighters get over the entire season. What I'm talking about here is that you're looking to determine the best, but not all fighters have had a chance to do that to THIS POINT. I said nothing to the effect that fighters would only have 1 fight for the season; not once. |

PHX, you have to determine it like a tournament.... they are determining the best out of the few fighters they are using right now and they are gonna determine the best out of a different group of fighters later then the best of each group will fight each other.
