At what point did Day and Story peak? Comparatively?

lol what? Hendricks is meh? Hendricks peaked, sure, but Jesus dude, the guy was a champ in arguably the hardest division in the UFC... For 10 seconds... lol I like(d) Hendricks too... But he peaked and died. Plain and simple. Sandman can laugh his ass off all he likes, it's still his opinion vs. mine. Difference is my opinion is based on some facts - comparing two lists. Yours is based on actively ignoring or discounting those, so you can claim your opinion has validity. You are entitled to your opinion, and if you were just saying "I like Day and in my opinion he is better than Story", that would be fine. But you are now trying to defend your opinion by trying to undermine facts. Fact: Day's resume is objectively far less impressive than Story's. That is not something you can argue. Day has beat no current or former champions. Story has beat 2. Again, opinion, . But the need to justify it by talking out your ass about how UFC and Strikeforce champions suck just undercuts all your credibility (and our respect for your MMA knowledge in general, since you like to bring the whole "other people know MMA too not just you, Justin" thing up all the time).

No, that's, once again, just you twisting my words around to try and make your own point. I didn't undercut any former champions. I simply have never liked Ebersole, and, quite frankly, when Story faced him, Ebersole was already at the start of his decline, which does make the Hendricks win and the Saffiedine win the best ones on his resume, really, since Hendricks hit his peak after losing to Story, became champ, then died, and Saffiedine's still fairly strong, despite not doing anything hugely significant since beating Marquardt in Strikeforce. So, no... I'm not really talking out of my ass, as you would love to have everyone believe. It's literally a difference of opinion, both based on facts. My take is just different than yours... That's all.

Then is it safe to call Jason Day a never-was, since he accomplished nothing respectable in MMA, whereas Story at the very least, accomplished those wins over "would-be" superstars?

But even in opinions, there is general consensus. It might be one's OPINION that Jill Stein is going to win the US election, but that opinion is a minority opinion. Is it valid? NO, since there is no supporting evidence indicating it to be true.

If you want to get factual about it, Schindler's List was 1993, 1994 was Forrest Gump. But Fact: TimeCop.
