Americans  Now...did you edit that to add the mooning? Like, did you post "Americans" then decide after "That could use some ass, hold on" then edit it, and add the mooning, or how did that come about? I initially wanted a facepalm emoji but we didn't have one so I had to find a new one and decided that the mooning was the best emoji so describe Americans. |

Don't even talk about America, the best thing to happen to Canada was getting rid of Justin Beiber. That and, you know...free universal health care. NOT being a disgrace on the world stage. Having a leader who is not prone to grabbing women by their genitals...that sort of thing. Oh, and when you are old enough, we make damned good beer and coffee too. I didn't realize how good until I went to the States and had a few beers - they were terrible. I don't drink coffee much, but yeah...U.S. coffee is worse than their beer. |

I could be wrong though. 1) If you are talking our free hospitals or health clinics, they work on need of care basis. Most urgent cases see the doctor first. That way, people aren't dying in the waiting room simply because the guy who got there before them has more money. 2) When you factor in what we pay for taxes vs. what we would pay for our free health care, we actually come out on top. Especially people who, in the United States, would have to go into hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt to have surgeries/hospital care. 3) In the United States, between 2005 and 2010, 130,000 people DIED because of lack of health care/health insurance. 130,000 human beings. Mothers. Fathers. Children. I'll pay a few more tax percentage points if it means 26,000 people a YEAR aren't dying. If me giving the government an extra 3 dollars for a video game means that 71 people A DAY are NOT dying...yeah, I'm all-in on that one dude. |
