If people want to do it, I think we can start a small "level up" process with your fighters.
Each fighter has 19 different stats that are very easy to update. So I suggest we start rewarding people with attributes.
example suggestions:
- every 50 forum posts gets you 1 attribute boost for any 1 fighter of your choice - winning the year-end Grand Prix gets you 5 attribute points to be spread across your team any way you want. - winning a title gets you 1 attribute point for any 1 fighter of your choice.
stuff like that. So you can PM me with where you would like that 1 attribute boost to go, and your selected fighter will be updated, and he will (slowly) get better if you keep building on him.
THOUGHTS?
I also briefly toyed with the idea of creating ourselves and making them level-up able fighters, but I definitely don;t want to mix them in with the other MMA fighters - we could have a Managers Division though, where we all are in it and we all get an attribute per win, or some such.
Please leave any and all feedback on this. We value your opinions.

bull shit idea... isn't this site suppose to be about real fighters. in "WhAT IF" fights?
if you start rewarding people with ways to better there fighters, then your taking away from the realism of the site

Not true, actually, since we are a fight team, the idea of bolstering a fighter gradually, which is available to all teams, is like you actually training said fighter. You know, like real people do.

Also, the manager's division is neat, and I give that a +1.

Fair. But to put things in perspective, 1 attribute is not really a big "game-changer" in and of itself, though the accumulation of them could be over a long time. But its a way to take control of your fighters "training" Since you also have to pick what to level up, you can customize guys more as well. So if you want Mark Coleman to have better stamina, you can upgrade his stamina.

I think it's a great idea. Gives us more control over our camp and how our fighters progress.

This is just to boost activity but it's not a bad idea

This is just to boost activity but it's not a bad idea It's definitely not "just to boost activity". When I saw the Mark Coleman fight, I realized he is pretty much doomed forever, due to very shitty stamina. This is a way to allow teams to train their fighters, and work on grooming them into becoming better, instead of stagnating in a middle ground.

Love it. Let's do it. I think it's realistic and a chance to actually have a chance on the site. Lots of us weren't here first, didn't pick our 'dream' teams. This means we can build them (albeit slowly).
