ok.... so I just realized I am shit disturbing for no reason in an otherwise productive thread. So if you want to call me names for the above let's do it somewhere else. I will be happy to explain why wrestling is sad and nothing else.

Ok, I've looked at it... Created wrestler could be tricky, but this program is sound. Just gotta figure out how upgrades would work and such... but it's go my endorsement.  |

I kinda like the dungeons and dragons type angels myself. with wrestlers having 'cards' that can be played by the manager based on the situation ect. Upon saying that, I have almost no interest in wrestling as I am #1 over 12 years old, #2 do not have any significant mental disability and #3 think that if it's about the story they should damn well be better actors. I love ya Ferocity, you know this... #1 We're all over 12 yrs old. Wrestling isn't beyond our capacity. Like Alice Cooper says "Pro Wrestling is just modern day Vaudeville." #2 You hang out with us on this site, so that's debatable  lol #3 I agree. Dwayne Johnson is an enigma among WWE/Wrestling actors making the transition. Better actors needed. |

I remember showing a chick the clip of Sid breaking his leg, and no matter what, she refused to believe it was real and that accidents happen in wrestling because "It's all fake". I was frustrated. I think chicks just hate on men being awesome.

I think it would be good if.. you build 1 character.. and wrestle as that character.. then you have the simmer controlling the rest of the wrestling world, create cards.. but leave all the role-playing to us and the results would be done by the simmer..(run-ins would be up to the simmer, unless you are doing a run in which could be done through a secret message to the simmers.) your talent as a fighter would be based on your points which you accumulate through several different ways (roleplays, activity, and maybe find a few more ways) Then the fight is simmed. certain rules could be created such as don't kill anyone. don't attack everyone and then cry if you get attacked. But the simmers should not have characters.. they should have the entire wrestling world at there fingers instead.

We kind of discussed that sort of idea before - but with real wrestlers in a fantasy format. But definitely with a dedicated simmer who was just like a dungeon master, where they controlled the whole thing, made up the finishes, etc. The members made the rivalries on board, and also had the option to submit "faction interference" stuff via PM.

That was just to offer a comparison of the different genres being polar opposites in terms of target demographic yet similar too... in that "it's no different than your run of the mill soap operas or chick flicks..." but in no way did I mean it to assume you personally liked soap operas or chick flicks. So, sorry that it came across how it did. Good to know you don't though... nice to learn new things about folks.  |
