I feel like with the new addition of members, we never really did a good chit-chat thread or two regarding what our interests are outside of MMA and the sim site world, so I propose this question:

Without spoiling things, what movies interest you? What do you consider on your top list?

I know some struggle to list favorites, but feel free to mention what you've watched lately.

In keeping with making my wife watch movies to complete the childhood she never had, we've recently watched Spaceballs. We have learned that she is a fan of Mel Brooks movies after catching this one and Robin Hood: Men in Tights - great shut your brain off movies.

I am a huge movie guy, so this is difficult to say my favorites. I'd have to say my favorite movie of all time is The Departed, and I love like all the Marvel movies, even though they have flaws... I'm a huge comic fan.

the departed was pretty great!
I also hold George of the jungle close to my heart. Brendan Frasier will forever be a superstar in my eyes.

Yes, Th Prestige is really good.

I have literally hundreds of favourites, but a few that are just randomly near the top 20 or so of that all-time list, off the top of my head in no particular order:
- The Godfather
- The Godfather Part II
- Memento
- Se7en
- Mulholland Drive
- Pretty much all Stanley Kubrick films
- Silence of the Lambs


Movies I watched recently that were quite good:
- Nymphomaniac (Vol I and II)
- Fences
- Tower
- Silence

Movies I watched recently that were awful:
- La La Land
- Mom's Outta Sight

Don't watch the trailer to Fences. I saw the film, then saw the trailer after and was like...WOW, that would have ruined my experience with that movie so bad.

i want to see the movie of the martian thats come to earth (forget the name) i love chick flicks.. probably going to rewatch all the harry potter films start to finish this weekend as we are suppose to amass alot of snow but maybe not as ufc's saturday and sunday is the royal rumble.
