Same deal as the movie thread, lets see what folks are listening to.
Does anyone here make music? Do you love music and want to share it with others to check out?
Post youtube vids here, or tell us why a band is awesome, etc.

Every day I dig around trying to find new music to enjoy and immerse myself in. My vinyl collection is now over 300, and I am an addict lmao Here's my recent vinyl acquisitions: Prize Fighter Infero - Half Measures EP (in glow in the dark green) Moneen - The Red Tree (boxset, picked this up after checking out their reunion show with The Sandmen) Owel - Dear Me (black and white splatter edition) Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank (one of the best start to finish albums I've ever listened to, all about a crew trying to survive an expedition... Spitting Venom is vastly considered one of MM's best songs to date) Brand New - Deja Entendu Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me (finally tracked this masterpiece down... if you haven't listened to this album, I strongly suggest listening to the song "Jesus Christ") There is more, but I think that's a good starting point lmao

I think I heard a few Hollywood undead songs like a decade ago? unless im thinking of the wrong group. it was some music video of them and a bunch of people in the street. was pretty catchy, but im not a rap guy.
im down with the clown (ICP) a bit, they are a fun duo I also like arcade fire a lot

Godsmack hit and were interesting, but then a bunch of other bands hit and they all kind of blended for me, a bit.
Bands like Taproot, Godsmack, Creed, Endo, and Saliva.
I am excited that System of a Down is returning with new music though, that's gonnna be pretty sweet.

I am a huge fan of heavy metal, the only rap I listen to is Eminem, and i absolutely hate country.

I grew up a metal and punk fan, and while I still very much enjoy a lot of it, I've grown to fucking become obsessed with indie music in general. It's practically consumed my bank account.

I have not found enough consistency in music to say I like a particular genre. I would like to say something like hard rock or metal, but there are so many sounds/bands that I really dislike in those genres, it's hard for me to put a blanket-statement on them like that.
Rammstein is, above all else, my favourite band of all time. Close behind is Marilyn Manson.
I really like Rob Zombie, but find his newer stuff no where near as strong as his older stuff. Still good, but not as good. I also love Metallica, Amaranthe, AC/DC, and a lot of Alice Cooper, The Tea Party, Led Zeppelin, Styx, and The Rolling Stones.
From Mike's list, I had a lot of fun seeing Coheed and Cambria with Mike and his wife, as well as Moneen.

Coheed will forever be a large chunk of my heart, if my heart was made of nothing but music lol

If he wanted to make a doc, they would have made a doc.

I went last year and it was the best weekend I had in a while. Plus some big country singers are coming out this year so that an amazing addition.
