I'm noticing that since we switched to the weekly salary which has balanced a lot of things out across the board (as evidenced by many different folks earning a title over the last few seasons) that something has changed.
The activity.
With no incentive to post for point, it seems people have stopped engaging in the delightful conversations we've had going on here.
As such I would like to promote the following ideas:
1. Members must take part in a discussion weekly to earn their full points.
Essentially, everyone will get a point every week, but if you are actively participating in the site, you earn the full two points.
2. Bringing in a revamped point-milestone.
I would like for it to be a guaranteed point per every 500 posts. As most of us have been here a long time, some have exceeded every possible point there is to get from posting. I want to bring it back for those of us who hit the highest milestone available a long time ago: a bonus point earned for participation per every 500 posts.
Thoughts?

How about the active people get a bonus point. So they get 3 points over 2.

We discussed the 3 point system before and it was just too many points, led to possibly capping people incredibly fast.

i dont like rocketmen idea scrap it as someones always complaining about posts, shoulda just left it ppp but it isnt so move on

i think we should just auction off xx - Former Phoenix Fight Club team and move forward with 2 regular point and stop trying to change the damn system so much all the tyme , no one benefits from being more active and the site moving so slow at 1 sim a week unless ur getting paid off the ads again? was this justin idea and had his bf suggest it? |

I like incentives to post... but watching how much someone posts like we used to do is kinda dumb now. But people who are active should be rewarded. (I think thats why sandmen gives points sometimes to everyone who predicted)

100 posts for 3 points is actually more than it used to cost to get a point, so that doesn't make sense to me.
I was thinking like something around 7-10 posts minimum. If you post just a little over 1 comment per day, you've participated in something on the site. Not hard to do. That earns you your secondary point.
Everyone gets 1 point naturally.
