If there is a tie for teams ranked 4-8, the highest ranked team that will fight one of those two teams gets to choose who they fight in the GP. For example... if two teams are tied for 8th and 7th place.... then the number one team gets to pick who they face. Does that sound fair?

Not as fair as something MUCH more simple. Like, In the event of a tie among any of the top 8 teams, we do one of the following suggestions:
1) Randomizer to determine who is ranked first
2) Team with the most wins is ranked first
3) Team with the FIGHTER with the best win percentage (3 fight minimum) goes first.
4) What Rattlesnakes suggested

I'm sure I have more, but those are 3 alternatives just off the top of my head, at this time. Discuss further, and weigh in ASAP. We actually do have a tie in the top 8.

Note: In the case of having 2 teams tied for the 8th place, those teams would have an inconvenient, but necessary Mini-GP/Versus to determine who gets the last spot. I think we have done that before. But I am not doing that for a case of "who will battle who in the GP, based on standings". I want something simpler.

Possibly to a dramatic degree.

If there isn't sufficient league input on this by the time I want to start posting the Grand Prix (likely Monday morning), I will probably randomize the tied teams for this GP and use whatever resolution we come up with now next season.

Keep any and all input coming!

They're tied in amount of fights so it's the fairest way.
