Benson Henderson after Beating Dom Cruz last night[Montreal, QUE] - George St Pierre has returned home today, a day after beating team-mate Matt Hughes to move to 24-9-1, a very impressive record. But still, GSP still looks back to 3 fights ago, when he let a chance slip through his fingers. He was fighting Thiago Alves for the middleweight championship of the world, and almost everyone predicted GSP to grab the title, and hold it for a long time now that Anderson Silva was out of the divison. However, it didn't end as planned. "I didn't bring my A game. I didn't fight the way I had to in order to win" GSP said. "Alves is a great fighter, and I am prepared to face him now. I know how to beat him, how he fights. I think if I was to face him tommorow I would win the title." Strong words from a usually conservative GSP. In other GrappleMuch? news, last night also saw Benson Henderson capture the Lightweight Championship. Defeating Dom Cruz in a 4th Round KO. "Very Happy.... Very happy right now, I hope to keep this for a long while" was the statement Benson Henderson made. Bottom line is, Benson has the Lightweight, and if GSP gets his wish and takes the middleweight title, Team GrappleMuch could hold 2 titles for a very very long time.

Benson is hands down the greatest LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION of the world.
Also, your challenges are accepted. Can I do that? Can I volunteer other people's fighters for fights?
Also, Thiago Alves, who is the best bantamweight champion in our generation, will defend his title against a skunk.
