Doubt anything will beat this one for FotN, and I think this might be one of our first legitimate contenders for fight of the year.
Guillard was agressive, and was teeing off on Penn early and often. BJ was taking more shots, but the few shots he delivered were STRONG, so he was doing damage to Melvin too. Melvin came out with round 1.
BJ Probably lost a close second round, but in round 3 he got brutalized. He was REALLY close to being finished, but he toughed through it (KO resistance, not toughness), and survived the round. In rounds 4 and 5, he did his best to return damage, and returned a lot of damage, but overall, he just took too much damage and lost this one. The decision was a good one, but both fighters did great here. Great show of heart by Penn. Nice to see (considering real life Penn has none).

Doubt anything will beat this one for FotN, and I think this might be one of our first legitimate contenders for fight of the year.
Guillard was agressive, and was teeing off on Penn early and often. BJ was taking more shots, but the few shots he delivered were STRONG, so he was doing damage to Melvin too. Melvin came out with round 1.
BJ Probably lost a close second round, but in round 3 he got brutalized. He was REALLY close to being finished, but he toughed through it (KO resistance, not toughness), and survived the round. In rounds 4 and 5, he did his best to return damage, and returned a lot of damage, but overall, he just took too much damage and lost this one. The decision was a good one, but both fighters did great here. Great show of heart by Penn. Nice to see (considering real life Penn has none).
