Undertaker is WWE. Hogan is WRESTLING. Everything you said is true, but it's all WWE-exclusive. It has nothing to with Wrestling as a whole. Hogan made WWF, then left and made WCW. He WAS wrestling, and will forever BE wrestling. You ask 1000 people who are not wrestling fans to name a wrestler, a lot more will say Hulk Hogan than The Undertaker.

When I think WCW, I think Sting, not Hogan. Just like when I think ECW, I think Tommy Dreamer, not Cactus Jack, Terry Funk or Shane Douglas. Hogan made the WWF sure, but 'Taker took his place and surpassed anything Hogan did with the company. And I'm pretty sure just as many non-wrestling folks would name the Undertaker as much as Hogan, don't kid yourself. But I'm also sure that my top 10 wrestlers of all time would be different than allot of folks too. Here's mine:
1. Edge 2. Bret Hart 3. The Undertaker 4. The Rock 5. Steve Austin 6. Hulk Hogan 7. Sting 8. Warrior 9. Mick Foley 10. Tommy Dreamer (11. Kane)
And that doesn't even include the women, but I think that's a separate list just because the women have contributed differently than the men through the years.

Yes, but to pretend Sting and the WCW would be anywhere near as successful as they were without Hogan is a joke. They were small time until Hogan went there. That made national news headlines. News, not sports. It was big. Sting, and the Undertaker have never made such headlines. When Hogan signed somewhere, it was actual news.

Hogan was the catalyst because of his heel turn... THAT'S what made headlines. WCW needed something that big to counter the WWE at the time with the popularity of Stone Cold, The Rock & D-X. It was a work that paid off. No more; no less.
When Hogan signed with TNA, how big of a story was it really? Not very... and he ended up making TNA worse that it already was. I like Hogan allot; I still mark out when "I Am A Real American" hits, but to say that he "IS WRESTLING" and "transcends the business" is a stretch. He is an Icon for sure, no question, and a pioneer. But you can say that about every single one of the fellas I listed above.

How is Edge the best of all time ? He is arguably the best heel of all time I will say that.
Hogan is bigger than Undertaker... Period . Let's not forget that undertaker has never been the face of the company . It started with hogan went to Austin and the rock ( mostly Austin ) during the attitude era now John Cena. People cheered undertaker but he's never gotten the treatment Rock and Austin have gotten.
Also Kruze your forgetting that Eric Bischoff also joined TNA at the same time as Hogan and it was big news. The views for TNA went up for a bit then the product got stale and everyone tuned out. Let's not kid our ourselves here TNA is TNA it doesn't have the fan base or funds to go head to head with WWE. They tried that in 2009/2010 when they moved impact from Thursdays to Mondays to compete with Raw but they failed miserably. So you can't blame hogan he gave them his ideas and they ultimately made the final decision.

TNA has the talent to compete with the WWE, they just don't have the writers, unfortunately. That's been their biggest downfall... that and taking out the 6-sided ring. As for Edge, he's my top guy... I get it's arguable, but how can you knock the guy for being the most decorated superstar of all-time? Adam has won more titles than ANYONE. He revolutionalized the heel role... not that it deterred me, I was always an Edgehead right from when he debuted tagging with Sable. Just ask xx - Team GAP who went nuts when Edge cashed in at New Year's Revolution for his first (of many) World title wins. As I remember, we were all drinking well into the night after that. No one thought he'd amount to anything more than a tag team specialist; he proved everyone wrong. No one though he could carry the company; he proved them wrong. At every turn, he proved everyone wrong. Then he's a first ballot Hall of Famer. That tells you he was one of the best ever. So, you don't think Edge is #1, kool... that's your opinion. He's the best in my eyes.

I hide for days until I see things I wanna see. That's why I am never around here or any other site until like, Sunday afternoon on UFC nights.
