Frankenstein Monster wins because of his ability to lure mobs (with fire) to the treant. Also his awakening self awareness and becoming man makes him violent and unthinking in whom he destroys.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Lure the mob, they go "holy fuck a giant moving tree" and then set it on fire for blasphemy.

I was just about to say the same thing. So long as he has the brains to do so, I'd go Frankenstein.

now if it was a laser vs a sonic blaster... or perhaps a laser vs a antimatter gun.. or a laser vs a plasma gun. I would have to consider the weapons choice of the two conbatants.. but in this case a gun vs a gun or a sword vs a sword unless there is a huge difference i have to cancel each others weapon out since they are the same.

Back to the game.
Round Something:
A toddler Power: Has a shotgun Weakness: is 4 years old
vs.
A Blind, otherwise fully fit and healthy 30 year old man Power: has a knife Weakness: cannot see

I think a 4 year old can adequately pull a trigger and then suffer the consequences of being much smaller than its weapon, unless it somehow cannot reach the trigger, but it could use its big toe or something to figure it out while the blind guy fumbles around trying to figure out where the hell the child is.

I'd say the 30 year old because the 4 year old would be scarred out of his mind without his parents so he would be looking with for a parental figure. All the man has to do is be nice and call the kid over and he will win.

I like Bulldozers answer. I would have said the blind man because the toddler gets one shot, with a shotgun they presumably have 0 experience with (or at the very least have not likely mastered). After that, the blind man could probably track the sound pretty easily, or the general vicinity of the sound.

Plus the if the kid is crying the blind man could use the sound from that to track the kid down.

Yeah, my money is on the 30 year old... unless he's a particularly stupid 30 year old. Guns don't help if you can be trapped/lured, tricked, ect...

Round 5 (I'm guessing here, if I'm wrong sue me)
Vine Man Power: Can cause any plant to become a vine and can direct the vine to do what he wills. Weakness: Severe allergy to peanuts (must be ingested to cause death?)
vs.
Edward Scissor Hands Power: Has scissors for hands- good at cutting things. Weakness: Can't turn off the scissor power (seriously watch the movie, see the tragic results)

I loved that movie. But I'd have to go with Edward. My reason for this is because at any attempt vine man may extend vines from the ground, because edward has scissors, he would be cutting at them, and given his mastery with his scissors, he'd do well to avoid cutting himself up, and is rather quick, so as fast as the vines would be pushed up, he would cut them down.
Then there's the natural factor that the vines would already have to be a certain length and thus be commanded to extend, because the natural growth of a vine is impossible to escalate in an instant, so the few vines that actually are there would immediately be cut.
Lastly, does cutting the vines HURT vine man? If so, with every failed attempt to wrap onto Edward, he would be in pain.
Gotta give Edward the green thumbs up on this one. That snow scene gets me every time.

Edward because his weakness doesn;t really hurt him in a battle, whereas vine man's could. If peanuts were ingested, then vine man is dead. If Edward scissors himself, as we saw in the film, he is relatively fine. Plus, he is kinda a weird robot type thing or something, and machines beat organic shit all the time.
