Big win by Kaufman, could've gone either way. Good champions always find a way to make their opponents fight their game instead of the other way around.

So very true. Part of why GSP was so good IRL. He didn't get drawn into silly slugfests or anything with guys who could probably out-slug him.

Yah, bad move trying to stand with Kaufman I think... lol That, and the Monster appears to need better defense still. However, to take a positive out of this, D'Alelio's punch accuracy still hasn't taken a dip... lol I do like that.

Minus a few to punches though and she might have gone for the takedowns.

Minus a few to punches though and she might have gone for the takedowns. No... I won't. Her takedowns are maxed and she's at my imposed minimum of 14 for punches, and that's with only a +2 into punches from her original build. Once again, if I actually wanted your input or "advice"... I'd ask for it.

Dear everyone except Kruze. If Sarah D'Alelio had 2-3 points removed from her punching prior to this fight, there's about a 70% chance she would be Bantamweight Champion. If she were mine, and I wanted her to win belts, I would minus 2-3 from punching, since, as we can all see here, her punching is not up to snuff. Thus, she got the shit kicked out of her.

lol
Here's my brief understanding of the simulator for how I build my Might Duckies...
if I make someone have punching around 12 or higher, they probably want to punch, so my strength needs to be fucking maxed if I want to KO someone.
if I want someone to take someone down, and their punches are around 12 or higher, then they will likely try and throw a punch under the mentality that "my punches are decent, let's throw those fists" when really, they aren't.
If you're not maxing strength and punches, then maximize what they are intended to be good at...
common sense, really, but there's d'alelio in the corner, crying, and there's kaufman... still the champ. go figure.

That's pretty much what I've been doing too, but like, reversed? I do that specifically for my wrestlers. I don't want them standing and trading, I want that takedown, so I make sure that if they are standing they can do something (so punches around like 10-11), but I basically try to build them to dodge, KO resist from the opposing punches, and then aggression to go for it and land that takedown and bring the fight where it belongs - ground and pound or submissions, and then I max control.
That's it, that's all. Well, on top of the usual toughness and conditioning, obviously, and then maybe I dabble a bit in heart. So far, so good. Competitive, always near the top. It's takes a bit to get there, but focusing on one fighter at a time helps see immediate progress. And... I've yet to have to "deduct" points from someone to try and tweak them.
They might not all be champions, but they are always contenders.

The Rocketmen but what do you do it you want them to do a lot of kicking and clinch striking? That's basically the only type I haven't done yet, but am not sure if that's a specific style that can be accomplished.

I kind of started to do that with Shamrock. Basically, kicks and punches, but also clinch striking and dodging and whatnot. That sort of thing. At least it will make them more well-rounded to stand and trade and take minimal damage.

I've been meaning/wanting to do a clincher for a while, but I haven't been able to acquire someone it would make sense to do it with. I should have clinch-ified Anderson, but he was so successful I didn't want to mess him up too bad.

And now he's sort of a contender-bubble fighter. May be a good time to give it a shot?

He'd need a complete overhaul. I just maxed him out a few weeks ago. At this point I'd have to minus about 15 or more points out of 4+ skills and its kinda one of those "if it ain't broke" things. I have my eye on a couple different prospects for that though, but if people could reply to PMs that might help some. DO YOU HEAR THAT PEOPLE! I'M TALKING YO YOU, PEOPLE!!!
