lol Here's my brief understanding of the simulator for how I build my Might Duckies... if I make someone have punching around 12 or higher, they probably want to punch, so my strength needs to be fucking maxed if I want to KO someone. if I want someone to take someone down, and their punches are around 12 or higher, then they will likely try and throw a punch under the mentality that "my punches are decent, let's throw those fists" when really, they aren't. If you're not maxing strength and punches, then maximize what they are intended to be good at... common sense, really, but there's d'alelio in the corner, crying, and there's kaufman... still the champ. go figure. Well, unless Sandman made D'Alelio an absolute weakling in the strength department on her original build, her strength should be near max... I've put +5 into her strength. The reality here is that Kaufman's just tough as fuck... she always has been. lol Dear everyone except Kruze. If Sarah D'Alelio had 2-3 points removed from her punching prior to this fight, there's about a 70% chance she would be Bantamweight Champion. If she were mine, and I wanted her to win belts, I would minus 2-3 from punching, since, as we can all see here, her punching is not up to snuff. Thus, she got the shit kicked out of her. Dear Troll Asshole... Go fuck yourself. An 86% Punching stat is just fine... What I'm seeing here is a lack of stand up defense, like Dodging, KO resistance, but not a punching issue. lol She rarely ever goes for the stand up game... and whereas you're 70% sure she'd be champion "if, if, if,"... I'm 100% certain that the takedown was coming had she not gotten rocked on Kaufman's counter punches. I have no doubts about that whatsoever. You have to start all fights on your feet and find an opportunity for takedown to make a takedown. Kaufman's also had D'Alelio's number this entire time, so I don't know why anyone would be surprised by this, cuz I'm certainly not... nor was I complaining about the loss. I know this easily could've gone either way depending on who got the advantage first... Kaufman just did again. Besides, it was also a ref stoppage and not an outright KO... I'm not too worried about this, especially since I was planning to move D'Alelio down to FW if she lost this fight. I'm ok with that.

The Mighty Ducks (Or anyone else not Kruze, since I am not allowed to talk to him and will not, in turn, read anything he says to me in this thread). D'Alelio lost in a minute and 32 seconds. But she's been upgraded perfectly, and any flaws in her are from 50 upgrades ago. Instead of fixing those, if any such flaws existed, her team decided to just do whatever floats his/her boat, then blame the simmer. Surprised, I am not. But it's interesting none the less.

But it's interesting none the less. 1) I never said she was upgraded perfectly... I simply disagree with you as to what the flaws are. 2) I didn't blame you for anything. Fact is that if she's not atleast in the mid-high teens on the stats that were upped by 4 or more, then that does come down to your original build. Plain and simple. It's not blame... It's a fact. If you don't like that, tough shit... doesn't make it any less true. 3) If you read or don't read... I honestly don't give a shit. Posting this is more for others to correct your lies and mistruths in this entire situation.

What I'm seeing here is a lack of stand up defense, like Dodging, KO resistance, but not a punching issue. lol She rarely ever goes for the stand up game... That's the point. If her punches are too high, she will WANT to stand and trade INSTEAD of takedowns. If TAKEDOWNS are like 15+ and Punches are like 10, then she'll be more prone to takedowns and won't stand and try to trade. I feel like you're not getting that. You have to start all fights on your feet and find an opportunity for takedown to make a takedown. It's a simulation system. There aren't people. There are just stats. It statistically makes her want to use the "punch" attack instead of the "takedown" attack if her punching is too high. Your self-imposed minimal limit might be too high and is giving her COMPUTER AI more ODDS of PUNCHING than TAKEDOWNS.

That's my understanding of it as well. The more I promote stand up or take down, the less I promote the other by a fair margin to make sure the odds are supporting which type of fighter they will try to be in the program.

Your self-imposed minimal limit might be too high and is giving her COMPUTER AI more ODDS of PUNCHING than TAKEDOWNS. All that is absolutely true, but it's also rare that she doesn't go for takedowns either. This was honestly just an oddity, and nothing else. I have her minimum set at 14 so that she keeps her fancy punches when she is standing... I may change that at some point... I may not... But it's no one else's concern but my own as to what I do with that cuz I wasn't complaining about this loss at all... I kind of half-expected it, but because D'Alelio's capped, there's always a chance she could win, and I'm ok with that. Sure, I'm disappointed she lost, but I'm not pissed off about it cuz I was planning on dropping her down to FW if she did lose this fight anyways. This made it a win/win situation for me... I either won the belt or I drop her down for a new adventure in the FW division. Again, I'm totally fine with that. What I don't appreciate is that, when I'm not complaining about anything... I didn't ask for an explanation or ask for any advice, Sandman decides to take it upon himself to tell me how to build my fighter. If I wanted help, I'd ask for it. Period. I don't need it shoved down my throat then told that "Well, she would've been champion if you'd done this...", when the reality is that if I had tweaked her before this fight, and the same result happened, it would've been the same thing in reverse... "Well, she would've been champion if you hadn't have touched her.". So, at the end of the day, I really don't give a shit what Sandman "thinks" because it's usually just whatever the flavor of the week is or it's just to get my goat because he knows certain things get under my skin; this would be a case in point. It's about respect at this point because I've ask Sandman numerous times now that if I don't ask for advice, don't tell me how to build my fighters... Yet he still continues to... and to me, that's just a "Fuck you Kruze" every time he does because I've asked that he not do it, and he chooses to disrespect that request over and over again. So it's really little wonder why I react the way I do when he starts with this shit cuz if you're going to disrespect me or my wishes, you can expect that you'll be disrespected right back... Yet he's always "so surprised" when it happens, and he shouldn't be.

I think D'Alelio in FW would be a fucking monster.
Side note, because "goat" sparked this. I read "that guy is GOAT" all over the place and finally realized that it wasn't a slang for like "works hard and is entertaining" it actually stands for Greatest of all Time. I preferred my definition for it.

Fair enough man... but you know what I've been doing with Sarah, and you knew my plans for her if she lost this fight anyway... and I already had taken her punches down too. There was no need for it in this case.

Need or no need, Sandmen provides commentary on any and all fighters and any and all times. It's like a free add-on service to ManMMA that cannot be disabled. I mean, someone has to post something on this message board, right?
