Wanted to hear what you guys thought of the event.
To be be honest, part of my childhood died today. The Deadman is gone. This really was his last match. I'll admit I started tearing up when he laid his gloves, coat, and hat in the ring. This was the Undertaker's last ride. He was the one to get me interested in wrestling, and he's been my top guy since I started watching. It's sad to see a 26 year career come to an end.
On a much happier note, holy shit, the Hardy's are back, and have already won the tag belts. Pop was fantastic to hear, and the DELETE chants were great.
Shane vs. Styles was better than I thought it'd be. Really surprised to see Shane pull out a shooting-star press. Mostly a spot fest, but better than expected.
Ambrose vs. Corbin was really disappointing to me, felt like a huge let down after the physicality on SD. Seems like the IC title has fallen off a little since the Miz lost it.
Speaking of the Miz, that was a glorified squash match. You have 1 star likely leaving WWE for a few months, and you decide to put him over one of the hottest stars on SD. The Miz has been on fire since the brand split. Everyone saw it coming, but it was still disappointing.
Did they really have Mojo win the Andre Battle Royal just to have celebrity involvement with Gronk? Should have been Strowman or Zayn, or if you wanted a suprise, how about Dain?
KO vs Jericho was a great match. Good payoff for such long term building. Sad it wasn't for Universal title, but good fun.
The fact that the Universal title match was shorter than the Undertaker's entrance is expected, but really sad for the major belt. In total, 4 different moves were used. That's it. Spear, Jackhammer, Suplex, F-5.
Another disappointing result was the WWE title match. Why they continue to have Wyatt lose at Wrestlemania instead of making him a star is unknown to me.

Pissed that Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns won. Happy about Orton tbh, always been a big Orton fan. Also, I'm super pumped the Hardy Boyz are back!!

Yeah, but WWE is forcing Reigns down our throats. They want us to see him as the next beast.

I just finished watching. It was a good show... some good spots. But every match was too predictable. The only match where i was a bit surprised... was the hardys.. i knew hardys had signed but i didnt think they would bring em out till after mainia. As soon as they showed up i knew they would win gold. Alot of the belts changed hands... but i was glad to see bayley keep hers.
Aside from that. It was sad watching taker leave his gimmick in the ring and leave. He did soooooooo much for the business... mad super mad props to him. Thank u Taker! He did amazing fighting that match with a hip that needs replacing.

Wrestlemania in a nut shell:
Undertaker should have retired like 5 years ago, that was embarassing as fuck. Was the equivalent of watching an guy in his prime literally beat up an elderly person. Nothing was gained, continue to hate Roman more than ever.
Rollins/HHH was fine, and the ending was comical.
Ambrose/Corbin - who cares?
Brock/Goldberg - it was what it was and was expected to be exactly what it was. Goldberg is old with limited endurance.
Bray/Orton - what an awful ending to an otherwise perfectly built storyline. Brutal. No one cared to see Orton win another title. This was a chance to finally put Bray over and they pulled the rug out from under it.
A lot of matches felt rushed. Andre the Giant Battle Royale was lame.
It was kind of fun until it went 7 hours long (including pre-shows) and pretty much all heels won except for maybe 3 three matches.

I honestly walked away from it disappointed specifically because of the Reigns match. How great is that? A decent WM and then right at the end a giant middle finger. God bless McMahon.

You're allowed to. But that story line is just completely destroyed after building and building. There was a reason why people did not want to see Orton/Cena in the main event. It's old. I wanted something new this WM and I don't think they delivered.
But boy oh boy did I pop when the Hardys came out.

Hardys were the best part of the show really. Because they had the biggest bumps and created the biggest surprise and it was exciting to see. The rest of the card was actually kinda boring (especially cause it was 7 hours long) and most results i could have told you before it started.
I also thought shane o mac and aj styles was good too based on the spots they were doing.

Agreed. Anyone else get douche chills when Roman Reigns failed to reverse the tombstone into another tombstone and dropped Taker, and then tried to get him up and Taker threw his pelvis at him from the ground to try and get caught and Roman dropped him again?
I did. That is the definition of that match for me forever. Roman Reigns botching a spot, and Undertaker too old and shitty to help it.
