This was a damned close fight. Aoki has this unparalleled knack for getting ahold of you like an anaconda and submission-chaining you to death. DJ did a good job of fighting it off, but wasn't able to get much going during that time. He had more and more success as the fight went on and was doing some real damage at the end of the fight, but at that point, it was rather too late. 10 round fight, and this would have likely been a fight of the year candidate.

This was a damned close fight. Aoki has this unparalleled knack for getting ahold of you like an anaconda and submission-chaining you to death. DJ did a good job of fighting it off, but wasn't able to get much going during that time. He had more and more success as the fight went on and was doing some real damage at the end of the fight, but at that point, it was rather too late. 10 round fight, and this would have likely been a fight of the year candidate.
