At this point it's not even going into a thread and saying, "Oh! (insert name) commented! I wonder what he has brought to the discussion." Instead, just by reading who last commented you can tell it's going to be mindless, disrespectful, or unnecessary to say at all. We shouldn't be that way. The site needs a little more respect. You can tell Mike and I we are sucking Justin off all you want, when in the end he is dedicating his life to keep this site running when he could be with his family. Take that into consideration when you try to suggest something and he says no to it. He knows if the suggestion will make the site better or not. He isn't going to add something that breaks the site. That's stupid, and it's even more stupid to get mad at him for sacrificing his time for your enjoyment. face it you wouldn't even be here if sumone didnt gift sumone else 2 years of ps plus |

this site at one point it time was a paid site for you Incorrect. At that time, we had an advertising contract with FanvsFan where we were actually obligated to put up the ads as part of our Podcast network. Proboards won't allow ads unless you pay to have their ads removed, that is what prompted the "pay". The site is free, and has been for the last 3 years. It only ever cost anything when we had actual media contracts, but we were paid to do that. To clarify 2 things. 1) This site was NEVER pay-for-use for members. It has always been free. Mike and I ate the costs ($10/month) to be allowed to put our own advertisements on this site. 2) The income we did generate from this site was about $2 a month. The COMBINED income for our podcast, this site, and network of hockey sim sites, was about, what, 100 over 3 months. Maybe a bit higher at our absolute peak? So, less than a dollar a day. At our peak. face it you wouldn't even be here if sumone didnt gift sumone else 2 years of ps plus You have given me gifts in the past which I greatly appreciated. You never told me they were for simming a site, or for any particular reason (I think one you said was for shopping for movies for you, since it saved you about 20 bucks a movie, times about 40 movies). You have given my Chistmas gifts in the past. I have given you Christmas gifts in the past. I did not know we were keeping track of these things, nor do I have any interest in doing so. And I'm not sure why this is relevant. Are you saying because you gave me gifts you have the right to be abusive? Cause...that was not discussed with me. I mean, I did not create this site in hopes of being an online TeleTech representative, looking to be attacked for no pay at every turn. |

Ok, and because of that you have the right to be a douche, and my opinion has less value? well if i knew it would lead to the site being over run by teeny boppers and the original members of the site who actually kept it going this long being kicked than i never would have gifted it.. The "teeny bopper" you keep trying to trash is about half the reason this site is still around. If it were not for him and Mike, I probably would have closed the site down when Photobucket broke all my images. Or I would have lost interest entirely, as the only time enthusiasm is shown on this site is when people are bitching at me for something. The Texas Rattlesnakes is enthusiastic about the site, fighters, matchups, etc. All the things that I actually want people on ManMMA to care about, and nothing is a bigger motivator than that. |
