- Started the season in a HW Tournament. Defeated Alistair Overeem, then Mark Coleman to earn a title shot. Defeated Shogun Rua for the HW Title. Four defenses against Forrest Griffin, Tank Abbott, Frank Mir, Mark Coleman.
Cody Garbrandt (7-1)
- Won first six fights of rookie season against Eddie Wineland, Joachim Hansen 2x, beat BJ Penn and Shinya Aoki in a LW Tournament. Defeated Melvin Guillard for the LW Title. Vacated title after losing to Anderson Silva. Defeated Diego Sanchez.
Cung Le (6-0)
- Won three fights straight, beating Rich Franklin, then Nick Diaz and Georges St-Pierre in a MW Tournament. Le went on to win the MW Title against Lyoto Machida. He defended it twice against Michael Bisping and Royce Gracie.
Cat Zingano (5-1)
- Got off to a rough start losing her first fight to Rin Nakai, then went on a five fight win streak against Ronda Rousey, Lauren Murphy, Cris Cyborg, and won her first BW Title against Liz Carmouche. She then defended it against Holly Holm.
