Ok, so that was a really intense PPV... probably one of the best I've seen, but it solidified in my mind that everyone has a punchers chance.
Let's start with JJ vs Thug Rose Namajunas. My jaw flat out dropped. Out of all three fights I was expecting JJ to destroy Rose more than any other fight, but instead Rose beats the shit out of JJ. I really want to see a rematch between these two because we all know Rose is good, but did she get lucky this fight?
Speaking of lucky, I got something to say about the Garbrandt vs. Dillashaw fight. I think personally Dillashaw was saved by the bell at the end of the first round, but he recovered and got the finish in the second. Congrats to him. I want to see a rematch between these two as well, and I definitely think Cody is the better fighter, he wasn't looking the same as he was against Cruz. I feel like he was more emotional here and that was his downfall.
Lastly, GSP FUCKING RETURNED AND CHOKED BISPING OUT! That's all for that fight, I'm just happy someone finally beat Bisping, and I'm even happier GSP didn't come back, lose, and ruin his legacy.

THIS CARD. I do not spend that on cards that have essentially one fake title fight (interim) and a bunch of "hopefully these will be good fights" fights on guys I don't know. When Dana White and the UFC started doing major promotional pushes for Jon Jones, McGregor and Rousey, and now all three are basically gone, who is left? Then GSP returns. This card didn't need him, fortunately, but it drew the eyes and now Rose and probabl even TJ are massive now because of it. Fuck Dana for criticizing the fans because we finally got an amazing fight card since 189. Even 200 sucked. Eat a dick Dana. Fuck you. Promote your god damn fighters and get rid of Reebok you doufus. |
