Miocic-Ngannou is interesting to me because at this stage I feel Francis CAN win, and it would not be as surprise to me, but I do not feel he is the better MMA fighter. He has power and one punch KO abilities. I do not know if he has the cardio to fight Miocic in later rounds, and if Miocic fights him deep, Ngannou could crumble and look terrible. Or he could maintain his power for 5 rounds. Who knows. But I predict the former.
(historical basis for this opinion: JDS vs. Cain - JDS ko'ed Cain by catching him once, Cain out-MMA'ed him dominationally the next 2 times they fought).
Also, how is Oezdemir still getting a title shot while being charged with assaulting someone? Why does the UFC have these artificial standards for conduct? What will they do if he wins, then is convicted of assault? Oh, UFC...

I am legit intrigued to see the Stipe fight, but I think he'll just wrestle the shit out of Francis until it's over. I don't see anyone willing to stand and trade with that guy.

Maybe in this new UFC era, we are cool with fighters who stupid shit as long as it doesn't jeopardize the card. He'll probably get suspended after, just like Jones did on that New Year's card when he tested positive for cocaine before the fight, but was punished and publicized after the fight. |

Yep. It should work out to being most of my staff points would be up for grabs, so I am participating because it's fun, and I want to and be part of the discussions and whatnot of real UFC stuff here, but also I get to compete for the point or lose it competitively.  |
