ok... so this will be the last time i suggest anything. because:
1) my valid points are ignored 2) what i say is twisted into something else 3) and i am personally attacked for what i believe.
This happens whenever i suggest something others don't like and then my suggestion is thrown under the rug. so lesson to everyone unless you have a suggestion that everyone likes don't bother.

so to summarize you believe that anytime someone brings in someone new and upgrades them well you are frustrated that they are better than your upgrading techniques? and we need to stop people from upgrading better. no.

i mean theres only two breakdowns to your argument
either you arent upgrading well and others are
or youre accusing the simmer of essentially making newer fighters better than your team right off the bat
the second argument has already been disputed
im definitely open and would encourage suggestions but i guess im just not understanding your readoning to want to punish people into not receiving the weekly salary that you also receive just because they aent spending them regularly

im definitely open and would encourage suggestions but i guess im just not understanding your reasoning to want to punish people into not receiving the weekly salary that you also receive just because they aent spending them regularly 1) your not open to ideas or suggestions. or you wouldnt be argueing with me. we would be discussing how to make things work for everyone. 2) its not a punishment. punishments are bans. this is not a ban. 3) if you have a cap on how much you can save. then it makes people more active.. instead of sitting on points like an egg. don't we want people being active? 4) it makes trades easier to compete with and people will hopefully trade more. do ee not want this? i explained how i feel about this suggestion.. how it impacts me that we dont have this in place yet.. and i have explained why it should be implementated. technically this was put in place but never enforced. all im asking is that it be enforced. i think 20 points is enough for someone to save if thats what they want to do. you could be exempt if your not online due to vacation or something. this suggestion is just putting a cap on how many points saved is enough? i feel saving points shouldnt be allowed for above 20 points. i come here to play in a semi realistic (in my head) mma simulation game. and dumping 10000000 points into a guy and instantly making him good is taking away from my enjoyment of the game cause its not realistic. i get more and more frustrated all the time because i have been here a long time and gotten nowhere. yet others seem to always succeed. sure maybe its cause im not as good as upgrading as others are. maybe i need help. but i have contacted sandmen for help from time to time and im still not doing as well as id like. but its doubtful that i am the only part of the problem. i see certain things happening here and i try to change things to make the site a better overall experience for everyone... not just myself. and in doing that people argue with me about why do we need that? i told you why. and people twist what i say to fit their purpose which is to deny me of what i want... which is in the best interest of everyone. you dont see the need.. fine your entitled to your opinion. but i see the need and i want others to see the need. so we can enforce a rule that is already a rule.

but its not a rule. it was sonething we had in place literally4 years ago that i dont believe was ever enforced to prevent people from post whoring. we dont have posts for points anymore so i dont see how a cap is even necessary.
is this all because i had 20 points to trade for kayfman and u didnt?

Are we able to take a loan for upgrades? Let's go with no, since that will open a really ridiculous can of worms.

I could see potentially putting a cap on trades and making it so that there is a maximum; however, I believe that there should be no cap when it comes to how people save their points.

I see your guys point Phx and GAP, I just think that people who choose to hold on to their points for whatever reason it may be, maybe they are happy how their team is fighting, or because they are just plain lazy, whatever the case, you can't punish them for that. Your point about new fighters coming on the site and dominating, I think its just how you upgrade them, it seems to work better if you have saved up your points and have a bumper, but it also makes it hard to tell what exactly worked or didn't. Although you also wont see to much of a difference when you are only putting in a couple of points at a time. I think its just more of a personal preference of how you want to upgrade and we shouldn't regulate, the trade cap I think could solve a few problems.

After an in-depth discussion with GAP, this suggestion is being tabled for the time being, and likely will be revisited later.
Thank you everyone for participating here, but because not a sentence can go by without fighting (whcih has all been moved off of this thread to keep this focused), I'm locking this thread.
Again, will resume in the future. Stay tuned.
