As always, if you only plan on taking a point, you may draft your point any time before you are up (and please do so we are not waiting for you once you are on the clock for no reason). You do not have to wait for your turn in the draft. If you want a fighter, you must wait for your pick to come up.
Season 22 Draft is now live. If you are online and on the clock, you have 1 hour to make your selection. Once you are on the clock, you have 24 hours to sign in and make your pick. If you have not signed in in 24 hours, you will be skipped immediately. If you want to make sure you are not skipped and get the pick you want, PM ME A LIST OF WHO YOU WANT AND I WILL DRAFT THEM ON YOUR BEHALF. This keeps the draft moving at a good pace, and ensures you do not miss a fighter you were interested in.
Important Reminders:
- 1st pick in the 1st round is worth 2 points.
- If you are SWAPPING for a fighter of the same sex, you can make the swap AND take a point with your pick.
- If you are SWAPPING a male for a female, you can make the swap AND take a point for your pick.
- If you are SWAPPING a female for a male, you get no additional point.
- If you have less than 16 fighters, and you want to ADD a fighter without giving anyone up, you sacrifice your draft pick only - it will cost you no additional points.
- Remember, fighter eligibility changed last season. Check here or PM The Sandmen to confirm your pick if you have any questions or concerns.
New Reminder
- The current roster limit is 16. But I don't want to stop anyone from drafting. So I will allow you to go over 16 fighters to participate in the draft. I cannot guarantee another roster limit will not come into play in the near future, so please keep that in mind while drafting. You can go over 17 for now. You might even be able to have 17 fighters for the entire season. But if not, if we bring the 16 cap back in during next season, be aware that is a possibility, and know who you want to drop so you don't waste a pick.
Here's the core recommended draft list.

As was recommended, because of the more complex nature of this draft, and because it's not based fully on standings, and we just had 2 major auctions, etc. the order was semi-weighted, semi-randomized based on new team need, standings, etc. Also, as such, we have decided to make this draft serpentine, rather than traditional, since the top picks carry game-changing weight.
