Maynard used his experience and ridiculous wrestling skills to destroy Jung in this one. It was one of those unfortunate first-fight mismatches, in my mind, but Maynard was not on a winning streak of any kind (i don't believe), so we thought this was even (ish). Jung needs general fixes. A bit of health, a bit of sub (if thats how he wants to fight), a but more ground game, and, though his takedowns were good, keeping that in mind might help too. Softening fighters up before trying to submit them is also key, and he did no damage to Gray prior to his 2 sub attempts.

Maynard used his experience and ridiculous wrestling skills to destroy Jung in this one. It was one of those unfortunate first-fight mismatches, in my mind, but Maynard was not on a winning streak of any kind (i don't believe), so we thought this was even (ish). Jung needs general fixes. A bit of health, a bit of sub (if thats how he wants to fight), a but more ground game, and, though his takedowns were good, keeping that in mind might help too. Softening fighters up before trying to submit them is also key, and he did no damage to Gray prior to his 2 sub attempts.
